Oggi dal Cosmodromo di Baikonur ha preso il via una nuova missione di approvvigionamento automatico per la ISS.
Si tratta della quarantesima missione Progress verso la ISS.
Alle 17,11:50 CEST, dallo storico Pad-1 è decollato il razzo vettore Soyuz-U che ha immesso in orbita la navicella cargo Progress M-08M.
Dopodomani, 30 Ottobre, alle 18,40 CEST, la Progress aggancerà il modulo Pirs della stazione orbitale.
A bordo sono stivate cica due tonnellate e mezzo di apparecchiature varie, acqua, ossigeno e propellenti, che nelle prossime settimane verranno trasferite a bordo della Stazione.
