salve a tutti, mi chiamo andrea macauda,ho 22 anni e studio ing…aerospaziale a padova . come voi sono appassionato di astronautica,il settore che più mi interessa è l’esplorazione umana dello spazio con particolare riguardo per le missioni gemini ed apollo anche se ritengo che la migliore astronave finora costruita sia la soyuz russa,almeno fin quando non sarà costruito l’aries (speriamo [-o< ).concludendo complimenti per il forum perchè veramente in giro nn si trova nulla del genere (sia per il contenuto tecnico che umano).ciao.

Immagino che tu conosca la tradizione astronautica dell’universita’ di Padova, anche grazie al geniale Giuseppe Colombo
già,bepi colombo è la ragione per cui a padova esiste questo corso di laurea,nato dal cisas(centro di ricerca aerospaziale di padova).purtroppo a padova non sono molto bravi a publicizzare il suo lavoro presso noi studenti, ci danno qulche rapido accenno sul “satellite al guinzaglio” o sul fatto che fu chiamato alla nasa per pianificare fly by con mercurio,quindi spesso molti studenti anche bravi non sanno nulla a suo riguardo

“In February 1970 the mission design was almost finished but a single event revolutionized it, eventually trebling its scientific productivity. During a mission planning workshop at JPL, prof. Giuseppe Colombo of the Padua University asked whether NASA had investigated what would be the fate of the probe after the Mercury encounter. Colombo noted that after the flyby the probe would be left on an orbit with a period close to 176 days, i.e. double the period of the planet. With a wise propellant management and an accurate design of the distances and times of the encounters of both Venus and Mercury the probe could return to the latter every orbit. The only disadvantage of this flight plan was that Mercury has its rotation period corresponding to 2/3 of the orbital period and this meant that after two orbits the planet would have made exactly three rotations and the same hemisphere would be visible during each encounter.”
